2005 Japanese Grand Prix: Kimi Raikkonen proved in no uncertain terms about what it takes to win at Suzuka in this race. Namely; a fast car, a fast driver and a lot of bravery. Nothing proved this better when the Finn came back from 17th place on the grid and pulled of a stunning overtaking move on Giancarlo Fisichella's Renault at the start of the final lap.

1976 Japanese Grand Prix: The very first edition of the Japanese GP was held at the Fuji Speedway, and was marred by heavy rain that prompted Niki Lauda to pull into the pits from a championship winning position. Having already suffered a near fatal crash at the German GP earlier in the year, Lauda was in no mood to risk his life again.
