Jyoti Randhawa put up a steady performance despite stoppages for inclement weather and notched up a final round of two-under 69 to finish tied-17th at the WGC-American Express Championship.
Tiger Woods yesterday sealed his sixth successive stroke-play win this season with a final round 67 which saw him total 23-under 261, eight-shot ahead of Australian Adam Scott and England's Ian Poulter at 15-under 269.
Woods closed the tournament with a birdie on 18th, the first time he missed an eagle on the hole this week. He had an eagle chance from 17 feet, but managed only a birdie. It was also Woods' fifth victory in the tournament itself, which he has won 12 times in the last 22 official WGC events.
Jyoti played a steady front nine with eight pars before he got his first birdie on the ninth. He shot his lone bogey on the 14th, but had birdies on 15th and 18th.
Randhawa earned USD 85,000 that took his earnings to just over Euros 350,000 and he is now just about 30,000 Euros short of getting into top-60, which will earn him a berth into the year-ending Volvo Masters of Europe in Spain.

Thongchai ended the week with a 10-under-par 274 aggregate and had the honour of shooting the day's second best score. Last season's No 1 Thaworn Wiratchant finished 54th while Choi Kyung-ju of Korea and England's Simon Dyson were 32nd and 38th respectively in the elite field.
