Sania on Wednesday created history by becoming the first Indian woman to enter a Grand Slam doubles final when she and Elena shocked fourth-seeded Americans Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.
"We are ecstatic to be in the final. It is a dream for everyone who picks up a tennis racquet to be in the final of a major. We have been playing very well together," Sania said.
Sania said they are the favourites in Friday's final.
