Indore biker creates record, performs 32.3-km Christ stunt

An Indore-based stunt biker has covered over 32 kilometres on a bike in a standing position and is set to create an all-new Guinness record.

An Indore-based stunt biker has covered over 32 kilometres on a bike in a standing position and is set to create an all-new Guinness record. The current record in the stunt, known as Christ biking, stands at 16 kilometres, also achieved by an Indian.

Ratnesh Pandey, who created the record on December 5 in presence of mayor Malini Gaud and municipal commissioner Manish Singh, has dedicated the achievement to Indore’s Smart City Mission.

The 30-year-old biker covered the distance in 48 minutes by standing on the seat of bike without touching the handle bar even once.

He started the stunt from Kisanganj in Mhow and finished at Manpur, by covering a total distance of 32.3 km. The city mayor congratulated him on accomplishing the feat and also appreciated his unique way to support the Smart City Mission.

“An uncut video recording of the stunt will be sent to Guinness Book of World Record office to register this new record,” Pandey told HT on Monday.

“I was riding at a speed of 35-40 kilometres per hour. It was not an easy ride considering the highs and lows on the road,” he said.
