MP: Man submits application against Sun

Fed up by the rising temperature, a person in Shajapur has submitted an application with the local police requesting to lodge a first information report (FIR) against Sun god.

Complainant Shivpal Singh Yadav who is an advocate requested police to register a case against god under Section 154 of Code of Criminal Procedure.

In his application addressing Shajapur district superintendent of police, Singh said from past one week all the living being whether it is human, animals, birds as well as trees are bearing mental and physical torture, thanks to unbearable heat from the sun.

When contacted Kotwali police station in-charge inspector Rajendra Verma said, “We have got the application from the complainant on May 20 and we are acting as per the law.”

“We take relevant action against the person if it is possible and under control, otherwise we file the application as per the law,” Verma said.
