A few companies are also serving organic food from office canteens or providing subsidised fruits and juices.

A section of IT companies have made arrangements for games on office premises so employees can take a break from the back-breaking work and return to their cubicles refreshed.

“We have installed bowling machines and nets where our employees can try their hands at a bowling. Apart from this we have installed an automated massage chair. We are also encouraging techies to eat nutritious food and are providing subsidised fruits and juices at the canteen,” Sudhi Tiwari, consultant (learning and development) at Infobeans Systems said.

“Irregular working hours and the pressure to meet targets often leads to high stress levels among IT people,” Dr Ramgulam Rajdan, head of psychiatry department at Mahatma Gandhi Medical (MGM), said.
