The incident occurred on July 11 when Bharatpur MP Bahadur Singh Koli was passing through Ludhawai toll plaza on Agra-Bikaner Highway in his SUV and was stopped by two guards.

In the CCTV footage which went viral on social media , the MP is seen slapping the guard.

“I was returning on July 11 to Bharatpur from the house of my supporter when the guards tried to stop the vehicle. When the driver stopped the vehicle, they misbehaved with him therefore I intervened,” he told PTI.

When asked whether he slapped the guard, Koli said, “Guards usually misbehave with drivers but the matter was resolved by mutual understanding and no FIR was registered.”
