  Princess Diana’s 1985 Jaques Azagury evening dress recently fetched 904,262 pounds (approx ₹955 lakhs) on auction. It has shoulder pads and a drop-waist design, and she wore it while on a tour with Prince Charles. We wonder how much the OG revenge dress will sell for.

  Your mom’s favourite singer, Bryan Adams, has confirmed that Summer of 69 is not about an actual summer, but about 69ing. Adams, now 64 BTW, said in an interview that the song was almost titled Best Days of My Life, “but mentioning 69 felt a bit more provocative”. How are you gonna break it to mommy?

  Opening new doors

  Cameron Diaz has said that the world needs to normalise the idea of married couples having separate bedrooms. While she and her singer husband Benji Madden do share a bedroom, she said they would live in separate houses if they could. Imagine not having to wake up to someone else’s alarm. Bliss!

  Broadcaster and Meghan Markle-hater, Piers Morgan, is busy this season. He’s tirelessly trying to convince the world that he didn’t have a cameo as the pigeon lady in Home Alone 2. But the memes are pretty damning. The pigeon lady was a positive character. He must have had to really prepare for the role.

  Restoring our faith in humanity

  An animal shelter in Pennsylvania, US, announced at Christmas that it was empty for the first time in 47 years. The Adams County SPCA said it was a “miracle”. We agree. The shelter said they adopted out 598 animals this year, and reunited 125 strays with their families. A stray cat has recently arrived. Somebody adopt him already!
