Harnaaz Sandhu is all set to return to her homeland after spending months travelling across the globe and fulfilling her duties as the reigning Miss Universe 2021. The 22-year-old was crowned with the coveted title in December last year, and since then, she has garnered love from her millions of fans around the world. Now, she is travelling back to India to attend the Miss Diva Universe 2022 finale and crown her successor, who will represent India at the 71st Miss Universe pageant.
Harnaaz Sandhu to arrive in India
Recently, Harnaaz took to Instagram to drop a picture of herself from a shoot. It is a part of a series the 22-year-old star did earlier this month with photographer Fadil Berisha. The image shows the beauty queen looking directly into the camera and serving glamour dressed in a black shirt. "A strong woman knows she has strength enough for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong. Here I come [India]," Harnaaz's caption reads. For the photoshoot, Harnaaz chose to leave her tresses open in a centre parting and styled them in soft waves. Glossy red lip shade, subtle smoky eye shadow, winged black eyeliner, kohl-lined eyes, mascara on the lashes, glowing skin, blushed cheeks, sharp contouring, and beaming highlighter rounded off the glam picks.

Meanwhile, the next Miss Diva Universe 2022 will get crowned on August 28, 2022. Harnaaz Sandhu will attend the beauty pageant and announce her successor at the grand finale. The title winner of Miss Diva Supranational 2022 will also be revealed at the event.
Earlier, Harnaaz made an appearance on The Daily Show With Trevor Noah. The star even posted fun snippets from her interview on the show. One of the clips shows her teaching a few Bollywood steps to Trevor. "It was such a pleasure to share the stage with one and only @trevornoah. Thank you @thedailyshow for having me on your show! @trevornoah remember it's all in the hips! Bollywood is watching," Harnaaz captioned the post.
Last year, on December 13, Andrea Meza of Mexico crowned Harnaaz Sandhu as Miss Universe 2021. She brought home the coveted crown after 21 years.
