New UP chief minister Aditya Nath Yogi has taken the social media by storm and has become one of the top trending personalities in a short span of three days.

Not only posts related to Aditya Nath Yogi are going viral on the social networking sites but dedicated mobile apps on the new CM are also grabbing people’s attention.

Four new mobile applications were launched within 24 hours of Yogi assuming charge as the chief minister. An app on Aditya Nath Yogi by by Navratan Consultation Private Limited has already registered 1,000 downloads. Similarly, apps by Mahasampark, Gyantech, and mApps are also a hit with the users.

All the applications share almost similar information on Yogi’s life like his full name before he was initiated into sainthood, his birth place, education, details of his guru, his spiritual and political journey and the controversies surrounding the leader. These apps also carry some impressive pictures of Yogi and details of the organisations founded by him.

Anandji Tandon, district president of Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh, an organisation of Aditya Nath, said through these apps people would come to know about the life and achievements of Yogi.

Lallu Lal Gupta, who campaigned for newly-inducted cabinet minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, said youngsters were addicted to smart phones these days and information about Yogi through these apps would help them lead a disciplined life.
