Excited after the Centre’s environment ministry’s final nod to the first phase of the coastal road project — from Princess Street in Marine Drive to Carter Road in Bandra, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) wants to show you what the project actually means and how it will make travel smoother for you.

The civic body, in a video, has given a visual representation of the different phases of the project and the changes it will make to the existing infrastructure.

The BMC is looking at global bids and the selected contractor will be asked to deliver on the BMC-approved design or select his own, whichever is more cost effective, informed the official.
