Hockey World Cup 2018, Quarterfinal, India vs Netherlands as it happened: IND lose 1-2 to NED

History once again repeated itself as Netherlands defeated India in the quarterfinal of the 2018 World Cup. India took the lead in the first quarter through Akashdeep Singh but seconds later the Dutch were level as Thierry Brinkman equalized. The misery for India was complete in the fourth quarter with Mink Van der Weerden scoring the winner in the fourth quarter. The wait for India for a world title goes on, as for Netherlands they will now take on Australia in the semi on Saturday.
