No man is an island, unless of course he’s the man tasked with sitting patiently against a palm tree while guests entered the space for Browne’s Spring 2017 show. Dressed in a gray Thom Browne suit, white face mask, and gloves, a model got up and began tweaking the outfits of other models in the show.

Surprise! Midway through the show, the models unzipped their gray wet suits to reveal brightly-colored shorts-style wet suits that also mimicked traditional suiting.

As the models were transitioning from their overcoats to their short suits, several other models appeared, walking around the periphery of the stage with tropical bird and shark masks and feather suits.
