Chandigarh: Sector-53 Garden of Springs opens to public

UT adviser Vijay Devon Thursday inaugurated the Garden of Springs at Sector 53. The UT adviser dedicated the garden to the residents of the southern sector.

UT home secretary Anurag Agarwal appreciated the efforts put in by the engineering department of the Chandigarh tourism and the Union ministry of tourism for making the Garden of Springs a reality. He informed that the garden consists of a variety of flowers, trees, tourist huts, walkways, artistic bridges for the convenience of tourists, public toilets and parking facility.

He said Garden of Conifer will be opened for the public at Sector 52 to promote tourism in the city.

Director tourism Jitender Yadav, SDM East Tapasya Raghav, chief architect Kapil Setia, chief engineer SK Chadha and area councillor Darshan Garg were also present on the occasion.
