The driver of the tanker involved in the ammonia leak in Doraha has been remanded to three-day police custody by a local court on Tuesday.

The driver, Jitendra Singh, who was absconding after the gas leak on June 12 night, was arrested on Monday following a tip-off. He told the police that he was not aware that the tanker couldn't pass under the flyover. He said he was on his way to Naya Nangal when the incident took place.
