Haryana chief minister ML Khattar on Monday launched online service for issuance of Form 'C' of the excise and taxation department and termed it as a significant initiative on the road to good governance.

Khattar, who also saw a power-point presentation on the online issuance of Form 'C' and handed over a hardcopy to a dealer, said that online issuance of Form 'C' would prove beneficial to the entrepreneurs, consumers as well as the government.

"It would simplify issuance of Form 'C'. Earlier, traders faced difficulties in getting it, but now online application would pave the way for hassle-free issuance of the form", he said.

He said that the launch of online Form 'C' would ensure transparency and after successful testing of the facility for a month, it would be made compulsory for all traders.

Later while talking tomedia persons, Khattar said that his government had listed 163 services which would be linked with online system to make their delivery hassle-free and transparent. "Out of these, 23 services had been linked with online system while more services would be linked online next year," he added.
