The Punjab government has declared a holiday on November 16 to mark the 100th death anniversary of martyr Kartar Singh Sarabha. As per the notification issued on Friday, all government offices, boards, corporations and educational institutions will remain closed on Monday. A leading luminary of the Ghadar Party, Sarabha was executed at Lahore in 1915 at the age of 19.
