The Punjab government on Tuesday transferred two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers with immediate effect. Ludhiana police commissioner Ishwar Singh was posted as the inspector general of police, zonal-1, Patiala, in place of Paramjit Singh Gill, who is now the Ludhiana police commissioner.
