Middle-aged woman murdered at home

A woman, Maya Devi (47), has been found murdered at her house in a village near Abohar in Fazilka district. Maya, when asleep, was attacked with sharp-edged weapons in the wee hours of Friday.

Maya, when asleep, was attacked with sharp-edged weapons in the wee hours of Friday. She died on way to the Civil Hospital at Situ Gonu. After autopsy, her family has claimed the body.
