Gandhi is the AAP’s candidate from Delhi East constituency.

“If BJP leaders can go to any state and campaign, AAP leaders too have the right to enter Gujarat,” he said Gandhi, while talking with mediapersons here.

Mahatama Gandhi’s grandson condemned the clashes that erupted between BJP and AAP supporters in New Delhi, Lucknow and other places after Kejriwal’s detention. He made an appeal to all political parties to remain calm.

Earlier, he interacted with the staff and students of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) on Thursday. “The Congress seemed to be a captured party, unable to escape corruption. On the other hand, the BJP made promises but created fears in people’ minds,” he said, when asked about the reasons of joing the AAP.

He gave a lecture on a variety of subjects related to his writings. He also spoke about his book on the history of Punjab.
