For Tollywood actor-director Mohan Babu, Delhi is a powerhouse. “Delhi is diverse and the people are really warm here,” says Babu, who was in the city for an exhibition, Samarpan, organised by Vishnu Manchu Art Foundation.

The 66-year-old is also a big time foodie. He says, “In Delhi, the variety of restaurants is better than Hyderabad. I especially enjoy Thai food here.” He does, however, feel that safety of Delhi’s women is an issue. “I wish the condition of women could change fast in the city, especially with such an efficient Prime Minister staying here.”
Speaking of the PM, Babu says he’s in favour of demonetisation. “This is a great step. I have always been a crusader against corruption. Cleansing the society is needed and the decision by Narendra Modi has proved his mettle. Hats off to him,” he says, adding, “Hiccups are common in a drastic step like this, but will last for a week or two. Medicine is always bitter but it is for your good.”
