Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2, one of the most awaited sequels this year, will be releasing worldwide in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on August 10. The makers announced the release date on Twitter a few hours before the trailer comes out.
Vishwaroopam had released in 2013 and Kamal had hinted at a sequel, explaining that there was more about the film that needed to be said. The climax of the first part had Wisam alias Wiz taking a vow to bring down the terrorist organisation, lead by Omar (portrayed by Rahul Bose).
Actor Pooja Kumar made her debut with the film and played the role of Nirupama, who marries Kamal’s character while he is undercover. Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur, Jaideep Ahlawat and Naren Weiss played pivotal role in the film. Kamal, Andrea and Pooja will be reprising their roles in the sequel.
