Not interested in acting, says actor Sathyaraj’s daughter Divya

Actor Sathyaraj’s daughter Divya stressed that she has never been interested in acting feature films.

Divya Sathyaraj, daughter of actor Sathyaraj of Baahubali fame Kattappa, has once again clarified she’s not interested in a career in films. In a statement, she has reiterated that she is not inclined to acting in feature films, putting to rest some rumours that have been doing the rounds.

“There has been a lot of news on social media in the recent past stating that I am interested in acting in films. It is completely untrue as I am not interested in a career in films. I have been practising as a nutritionist for about 7 years and consult at two clinics in Chennai. I am currently doing my PHD in nutrition. Although I respect the film industry a lot and watch a lot of movies I have never been interested in a career in films. I have been part of a documentary film on health and nutrition but I was never inclined towards feature films,” Divya said in a statement.

In the past as well, Divya has reacted to rumours that indicated that she might take the acting plunge soon. Sathyaraj’s son Sibi is a Tamil actor and his recent outing Sathya, a remake of Telugu indie thriller Kshanam, was one of the surprise hits of last year.
