Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar to shoot for 2.o at Delhi’s Nehru stadium

Some action sequences of Shankar’s Tamil actioner 2.o featuring Rajinikanth and the film’s antagonist Akshay Kumar will be canned at a section of Jawaharlal Nehru stadium.

The buzz around Rajinikanth’s Tamil actioner 2.o, a sequel to the blockbuster Enthiran, is heating up. Some important portions of the film will be shot at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Delhi from Thursday.

“Some high-octane action sequences will be shot in this schedule, which will last for over a month. Some key portions will be shot at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and the rest will be shot in and around the city,” said a source from the film’s unit.

These action sequences will feature Rajinikanth and the film’s antagonist Akshay Kumar and will be shot at a section of the stadium, which is also hosting the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2016.

“The team has erected massive and expensive sets to shoot this action portion,” the source added.
