Wimbledon 2023 Day 6 Highlights: It was yet another day when rain wreaked havoc at Wimbledon twice, suspending plenty of matches on outside court. Yet, the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Christopher Eubanks, Daniil Medvedev, Aryna Sabalenka, Petra Kvitova and Stefanos Tsitsipas all made the second week in London. However, it was heartbreak for Indian tennis fans as the men's doubles pair of Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and N Sriram Balaji lost to French Open winners Karjicek and Dodig in their opener, a day after entering as alternates.

  Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was 8-4 ahead in the fifth set tie-breaker, leaving him two points away from a best ever show at a Grand Slam. But young Holger Rune held his nerves to script a late twist in the tale, courtesy of Fokina's brainfade moment where he dished out an underarm serve. The no.6 seed won 6-3, 4-6, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(10-8). He will next face the winner of Tiafoe vs Dimitrov with a possible Alcaraz quarterfinal clash on the cards
