After the spectacular success of its GPT-3.5 powered ChatGPT, which was released in November last year, OpenAI recently introduced a new version of the AI chatbot. This latest version of ChatGPT, which is powered by OpenAI's new GPT-4 large language model (LLM), is said to be more sophisticated than its predecessor.

To determine if the chatbot is indeed better in its present form, and to check its capabilities, HT's sister publication Mint asked the bot a question: “What do you know about India that many Indians do not know?”

Here's what ChatGPT replied: “India is a is a diverse and rich country with a deep history and culture, there are some lesser-known facts that even Indians may not be aware of:”

(9.) Rocket transported on bicycle: In 1963, India's first rocket was shifted on a bicycle from Thumba Launching Station in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to the launch pad, about 9 kms away.
