Eugenie Bouchard and Michelle Wie recently swapped their tennis racquet and golf stick for a promotional shoot for Nike, taking their fans across social media by surprise.
In a video uploaded on her Instagram account on Tuesday, Canadian tennis queen Eugenie Bouchard can be seen swinging her club towards a target. Although she connects the stick to the golf-ball in each of her attempts, she doesn’t seem to have connected them well in the initial drives.
She also seems to tell Michelle Wie, a professional golfer and a former winner of the U.S Women’s Open, that the latter’s presence does create a performance pressure as well.
Eugenie Bouchard, who reached the Wimbledon finals in 2014, however seems to have mastered the art by the end of the video where she can be seen jumping around in joy.
Michelle Wie comes and gives her a high five and can be heard saying “That was so good” while Bouchard acknowledges back stating: “Great coach”.
Bouchard and Wei seems to have had a gala time out together with the two even posing for a boomerang video on a tennis court.
