A woman revealed that the viral video showing her mocking her former classmate for working as a delivery driver and triggering a massive social media backlash was staged. Ayushi Singh shared a post on Instagram clarifying that it was just a prank.

“Guys, it was Just A Prank video,” she posted along with a video that opens with a text insert that reads, “Domino’s boy reality,” Singh explained that she along with her three friends saw a delivery bike in the middle of the road and her friend, the one who went viral as the delivery boy, tried to park it on the side. That is when they made the video as a joke. However, they never expected it to go viral.
Singh clarified that they revealed the video was staged after fake IDs posing as her friend, Tarun Singh, started cropping up on social media, asking people for money.
Tarun Singh shared his side of the story in a separate video on his Instagram profile. He said that he loves acting and jokingly made the video with his friends. He never expected it would trigger such strong emotions among social media users.
He further warned people not to get scammed and give money to anyone posing as him.
