Aarya Babbar became the seventh contestant to be voted out of Bigg Boss 8. He was eliminated from the show on Sunday after Karishma Tanna managed to get more audience votes than him.
Upen Patel, Aarya's close friend, broke into tears when the eviction was announced. A touched Aarya gave his 'kada' to Upen to remind him of their strong bond and friendship.

During his stay in the Bigg Boss house, Aarya found friends in fellow contestants Diandra Soares, Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna.
Aarya had his share of fame on the show that thrives on fights and gossips. Aarya was at the centre of a raging controversy when he said he was dating Minnisha Lamba, a co-contestant on Bigg Boss 8.

{{/usCountry}}Lamba, however, denied that and claimed Aarya wanted her to pretend to have an affair for the sake of the show's TRP.
Aarya was also at the receiving end of Puneet Issar's anger when the latter pushed him to ground. The incident resulted in Puneet being shown the doors for being violent.
However, Puneet soon returned to the Bigg Boss house after apologising, and stayed in a cage for a few days before being freed.
Sunday's episode also saw Puneet once again batting for Gautam Gulati. While discussing Diandra's captaincy with Salman Khan, he said Diandra nominated the TV actor despite the fact that he was the most dedicated worker in the house.
If nothing else, Bigg Boss has certainly given Gautam a beloved mentor in Puneet.
