"Winning or losing doesn’t matter to me. I feel like a winner as I entertained people even though my journey wasn’t easy. Neither did I have support in the house, nor was I part of any group. I learned a lot, including what my strengths and weaknesses are," she says, adding that she joined the show to meet Salman, and also because it "gives [one] a lot of visibility and has a certain mass appeal".

She also did quite a few household chores on the show, including sweeping the floor and grounds. Even though she was mocked by her co-participants for doing a lazy job, Sonali seems to have discovered a new side to her. "It doesn’t matter what people say in the house; only my image in the real world is important to me. I didn’t get affected by any of it (mocking). But I have more respect for maids now," she says.

Ask her about Rahul Mahajan’s statement (he said he had a crush on her) and Sonali says, "It is sweet of him. Had I been in the house, we would have connected, given our Marathi background."
