Raveena Tandon, Govinda to team up for dance show Shine of India

The couple that gave us popular dance numbers like Ankhiyo Se Goli Maare and Kisi Disco Mein Jaayein in the 90s are set to be back together onscreen. This time, actors Govinda and Raveena Tandon have collaborated for a dance reality show, called Shine of India.

Raveena and Govinda worked together in a number of films including Dulhe Raja, Akhiyon Se Goli Maare, Anari No 1 and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan among others. The duo have a long list of dance numbers that were popular in the 90s era.

“It’s like a cherry on the cake. Everyone talks about our timing. We share a common love for music and dance. We used to try to outdo each other, which got the best out of us,” Raveena said in a statement.

The actress was last seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet while Govinda’s last film was Kill Dil where he was seen alongwith Parineeti Chora, Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar.
