Hours after 8 charred bodies, including that of two children, were found in West Bengal's Birbhum district, the Centre has now sought a report within 72 hours from the Mamata Banerjee government. Earlier, the Chief Minister too had formed a SIT to probe the horrific arson that took place allegedly after the death of Bhadu Sheikh - the deputy chief of the Barshal gram panchayat. Bhadu was murdered in a bomb attack late on Monday night, police reported. Earlier, a delegation of BJP MPs had also met with Home Minister Amit Shah urging him to take action in the incident. The BJP has demanded resignation of Mamata Banerjee over the issue. Watch this video for more details.
