'Abide With Me' omitted: Cong hits out; Govt says 'Only Indian tunes this year'

A political war has erupted after Narendra Modi government omitted 'Abide With Me' hymn from Beating The Retreat ceremony held every year to mark the culmination of Republic Day celebrations. Senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram said the move is sad and hurtful and demanded that the Government should reconsider its decision. However the Modi government has defended the move, saying this year it wants maximum Indian tunes in the ceremony. Watch this video for full details.
