Punjab actor-activist Deep Sidhu, accused in the Red Fort Violence case, dies in road accident in Haryana. Deep Sidhu was arrested last year for inciting protesters during the Republic Day tractor rally. Delhi police accused Sidhu of being a part of the conspiracy to hoist the Sikh flag at the Red Fort. Deep Sidhu defended his actions; police said his intent was to incite violence, disregard the national flag. After the tractor rally, Deep Sidhu was allegedly heckled by farmers at Singhu border for misleading protesters.
