Fresh reporting suggests Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is unlikely to attend the funeral of his father, Ali Khamenei, with multiple reports pointing primarily to security concerns around any public appearance. One report said his representative in India indicated that Israeli threats and surveillance risks would make it too dangerous for Mojtaba to appear publicly at the ceremony.
