Amid border tensions, CRPF Officer sacked for ‘harbouring’ Pakistan woman

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has dismissed constable Munir Ahmed for concealing his marriage to a Pakistani woman, citing national security concerns. Ahmed, who married Minal Khan from Sialkot via video call in May 2024 without official approval, was found to have harbored her in India beyond her visa’s validity and failed to disclose her visa status to authorities.
