Palestinian militant group Hamas has suggested a post-war plan for the Gaza Strip during the ceasefire negotiations being held in Doha. Husam Badran, a member of the Hamas' political bureau, said, "We proposed that a non-partisan national competency government manage Gaza and the West Bank after the war." Meanwhile, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office termed the Reuters report on July 12 “complete fake news.” The report said that Israel is considering the option of withdrawing from the Gaza-Egypt border as part of a potential ceasefire deal.
