Arab Nations Up Ante Against Israel; After Jordan, Now Bahrain Withdraws Envoy | Details

As Israel continues to face criticism over its offensive in Gaza, Bahrain recalled its ambassador to Israel and halted all economic ties with it. In a statement, the parliament of the Gulf state said the moves were part of measures taken in support of "the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people".
