At HTLS 2025, J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah responded to the Red Fort blast by saying that the abrogation of Article 370 was “never a cure for terrorism.” He stressed that despite major constitutional changes, isolated terror incidents can still occur and should not be used to target or stereotype Kashmiris. Omar called for a realistic, long-term approach to security while urging the nation to avoid collective blame and maintain trust with the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
