Big update on US-Iran MoU signing from Arab mediator amid questions over full reopening of Hormuz

Qatar has offered a fresh update on the reported U.S.-Iran memorandum, saying Doha took part in the mediation effort in support of Pakistan and will be represented at the expected signing meeting in Switzerland. Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari said regional efforts were aimed at narrowing differences, sustaining the ceasefire, restoring normal shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, and advancing negotiations between the two sides.
