CM Bommai calls for restraint after row over religious divide in Karnataka

Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai has called for restraint a day after Biocon Chief Kiran Mazumdar Shaw tagged him in a tweet highlighting communal divide in the state. "We have been living with our beliefs on various issues over the years. Karnataka is known for peace and progress. It is possible to resolve the social issues through peaceful talks. So everyone should behave with restraint and cooperate to maintain peace and order," Bommai said. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw thanked the CM for paying heed to her appeal. Watch this video for more details.
