Can Trump kill Putin’s 'Starlink' before it turns Ukraine into a drone killing zone? | Russia, war

Ukraine is turning to Washington for fresh sanctions as Russia develops the Rassvet satellite network, a system Kyiv fears could allow Moscow to control attack drones across Ukraine through its own satellite connection. Russian forces had previously relied partly on Starlink terminals, but restrictions on unverified Russian devices increased pressure on Moscow to build an independent alternative. Russia’s Bureau 1440 has already launched batches of Rassvet satellites as it works toward a much larger communications constellation. Ukraine now wants the U.S. to target companies and individuals helping the project. With Putin’s drones already putting Kyiv under intense pressure, could Russia’s own “Starlink” make Moscow’s long-range drone campaign even harder to stop?
