'Canada Unsafe For Us': Jaishankar Blasts Trudeau For Anti-India Tirade Amid Diplomats' Parity Row

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar criticised Canada for making the country an “unsafe workplace” for Indian diplomats as he revealed why New Delhi was forced to invoke the diplomats’ parity. “Parity is very much provided for by the Vienna Convention, which is the relevant international rule on this. But in our case, we invoked parity because we had concerns about continuous interference in our affairs by Canadian personnel,” the External Affairs Minister said.
