Centre vs non-BJP states on fuel taxation I Decoding the blame game

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement on certain states not cutting VAT on fuel prices triggered a massive political blame game. Non-BJP ruled states launched a tirade against centre by claiming that they never increased tax on fuel. Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri however, tried to 'bust the myth' of the opposition states by posting data on Twitter. In this blame game, the aam aadmi continues to suffer, with rising prices of Petrol and Diesel burning hole in his pockets.
