China has issued a sharp warning to Washington after the arrest of Venezuela’s president during a U.S. operation in Caracas. Beijing demanded the immediate release of Nicolas Maduro and his wife, calling the move a clear violation of international law. As Caracas declared a national emergency, China pushed for urgent UN Security Council talks and vowed support for Venezuela regardless of political shifts. The dispute escalated further as Beijing also hit back at Donald Trump’s renewed claims over Greenland, accusing the U.S. of exploiting “China threats” to serve its own interests.
