Chinese Spy Balloon, 12 Jets Fly Over Taiwan Strait | Xi Planning Strike Ahead Of Election?

Taiwan claims a Chinese surveillance balloon was spotted over the Taiwan strait. Taiwan’s defence ministry also added that 12 fighter jets crossed the Median line. Taiwan has threatened to shoot down such balloons but did not disclose what action was taken. This comes about a month before Taiwan is scheduled to host presidential elections.
