An ardent Jayalalitha follower in Coimbatore designed a special bulb in a bid to thank the Chief Minister for 100 units of free power. During the election campaign, Jayalalithaa had promised to provide 100 units of power free for all domestic consumers in the State. Going by the new order, domestic consumers in all tariff slabs will pay less on their bimonthly bills.
