Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke alleged that party spokespersons Ashutosh Ranka, Ajinkya and Saurav Das were kept separately following their detention in Delhi, while 11 party volunteers were taken elsewhere. Dipke claimed that police prevented lawyers from entering the police station and threatened other party members with detention. He also questioned why Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar was important to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These allegations come amid protests and demands for Gyanesh Kumar's resignation.
