Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces were reported in Beitunia town. Israeli troops were seen firing tear gas shells at Palestinian mobs on the streets. Palestinian locals had gathered to welcome the prisoners being released by the IDF. According to WAFA news, a Palestinian youth was shot dead by Israeli troops during the confrontations.
