Chaos erupted at Bharat Mandapam on Feb 20 after Indian Youth Congress workers staged a brief “shirtless/topless” protest with anti-Modi slogans during the India AI Impact Summit, prompting security to remove them from the exhibition hall. Delhi Police said legal action is underway, while a senior officer told reporters that around 10 protesters were detained and taken to Tilak Marg police station. Youth Congress president Uday Bhanu Chib defended the protest, while the BJP reacted sharply, with spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari alleging the protest was carried out on Rahul Gandhi’s instructions.
